Site work and asbestos abatement for an educational facility in Richton Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for asbestos abatement for a educational facility.

The Board of Education of Matteson Elementary District No. 159 ("Board"), will receive sealed bids for asbestos abatement work to be conducted Summer of 2022. The bid package includes: o 2022 Asbestos Abatement Work - Neil Armstrong Elementary School, Marya Yates Elementary School, Woodgate Elementary School, Sieden Prairie Elementary School. Bidders are responsible for ensuring timely delivery of their bids; no late bids will be accepted. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Matteson Elementary School District 159 located at 6202 Vollmer Road, Matteson, Illinois 60443, at 2:00 p.m. on February 17, 2022. All contractors submitting a bid for these projects SHALL attend this pre-bid meeting. The pre-bid meeting will also be attended by a representative of Matteson Elementary School District 159 and the Project Designer. The successful Contractor shall provide Labor and Material Bonds, and Performance Bonds for the work. In accordance with the Prevailing Wage Act, all bidders shall guarantee that not less than the prevailing wage will be paid to laborers, workers and mechanics performing work under the contract. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive any irregularities or technicalities in the bids.
