Livingston County Health and Education Building 310 E Torrance Pontiac, Illinois 61764 Livingston County will receive sealed bids for removal of asbestos containing materials prior to demolition by others of the former Livingston County Health and Education Building located at 310 E Torrance Pontiac, Illinois 61764. The contractor shall complete the following scope of work in accordance with applicable, local, state, and federal regulations. Scope of work shall include all abatement of areas listed in Table 1 herein and identified in the pre-bid walkthrough. Water and electric will be available to the abatement contractor for the duration of the project. A portion of the work will occur in a pipe tunnel area which is considered a non-permit required confined space. Contractor shall be responsible for determining and complying with confined space regulations. The contractor, prior to furnishing bids shall determine exact locations and quantities. Contractors are responsible for actual quantities present at the facility even if not identified on documents provided to Contractor. This is a LUMP SUM payment for removal of ACM for purposes of building demolition following abatement.
