Deadline for Questions: February 10, 2022 @ 5:00 p.m. Period of Contract: Date of award through June 30, 2022 The City of Fairfax, Virginia, is seeking to establish a term contract for place making along Old Lee Highway between Fairfax Circle and Old Town Fairfax as a companion project to the in-progress engineering design of the Old Lee Highway Multimodal Improvements Project. The City of Fairfax is currently in the preliminary design phase of a multimodal improvements project to improve the look, feel and function of Old Lee Highway for all users of the roadway. The redesigned Old Lee Highway will include sidewalks on both sides of the roadway, a two-way cycle track on the north side of the road, upgraded pedestrian features (narrower crossings, consolidated crosswalks), upgraded transit amenities and improved landscaping and buffering. The term of the contract shall be from date of award to June 2022.
