Renovation of a mixed-use development in Silver Spring, Maryland. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center; and fitness / recreation center.
This project consists of the partial replacement of the roof of the Long Branch Community Recreation Center. The project scope of work is the removal and replacement of roughly 14,600 SF of deteriorated roofing surface of designated Areas A and B of the Long Branch Community Recreation Center, located at 8700 Piney Branch Road, Silver Spring, MD 20901. The project will require the complete removal and disposal of the existing roofing, insulation, gravel surfacing, flashings, sheet metal assemblies, and unit skylights. The installation of the new roofing will include a fully adhered replacement thermoplastic membrane with isocyanurate insulation and gypsum coverboard. The project also includes sheet metal fabrications and skylight installation. Please note: The Name and Signature Requirements sections located on the Solicitation, Bid, and Award Sheet.
