The City of Cameron, Missouri will be accepting bids for roof restoration at the Cameron Public Safety Building, 101 West Second St, Cameron, MO. A pre bid document can be picked up at Cameron City Hall or found by clicking on the bid specification link below. The City of Cameron does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, or disability status in the provision of service. The City of Cameron reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. The selected Contractor shall conform to the State of Missouri, Division of Labor Standards, Annual Wage Order No. 26, Section 019, Clinton/DeKalb/Caldwell County, in accordance with Section 290.262 CUM. Supp. RSMO (1994). Additionally, a current Certificate of Insurance and current City of Cameron Business License will be required. The selected Contractor shall conform to the Missouri Prevailing Wage Law if the total job cost is in excess of $75,000.00. Refer questions to City of Cameron Clerk, 816-632-2177. The City reserves the right to waive any inconsistencies or formalities, to reject any and all bids, and to negotiate with responsive bidders or third parties should said negotiations be in the best interest of the public. The project includes repairs, preparation, seal complete roof, and replace existing gutter heat tapes to working condition. A separate bid shall be submitted to repair a portion of roof and insulation above the Fire Department Office and Training Room area. All bids shall be reviewed by City staff by March 15, 2022. City Council shall award bid by March 21, 2022. Successful bidder shall be notified by March 22, 2022. All City of Cameron required paperwork shall be completed before start of the project.
