The Project generally involves removal of 6-inch cast iron pipe (CI) and installation of 6-inch ductile iron pipe (DIP). Cleaning and inspection of 6 and 8-inch vitrified clay pipe (VCP) and 6-inch cast iron pipe (CI). Perform point repairs on 6 and 8-inch vitrified clay pipe (VCP) and install Cured-In-Place-Pipe on 6 and 8-inch vitrified clay pipe (VCP) and 6-inch cast iron pipe (CI). Also, Project involves construction/rehabilitation of sanitary sewer manholes and reconnection, reconstruction and reinstatement of active sanitary sewer service laterals. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified check, a cashier's check or a bidder's bond in the sum of not less than 10% of the total aggregate amount of the bid. Checks shall be made payable to the order of the City of San Jose The Contractor's Faithful Performance Bond shall be for 100% of the contract amount.
