Randall Oaks Golf Club - Boardwalk Bridge. Supply and Install a Boardwalk Bridge In Place of the Existing Asphalt Cart Path on Hole #6 This project includes the purchase and installation of a boardwalk (over a wetland) between the tee and the green on the sixth hole at the Randall Oaks Golf Club (see attached map) The Boardwalk will be used for a combination of foot traffic, golf cart traffic and lighter duty golf course maintenance equipment. The path area currently has an asphalt cart path in place. The condition of the path is generally poor. The wetland areas the boardwalk will be installed over is generally drier, with standing water only during raining weather stretches Construct a new 210' x 10' wide boardwalk - 4,000 pound load capacity The boardwalk shall be constructed from MCA pressure treated and arsenic free Southern Pine lumber and pre-stained Brown. Fresh cut-ends of wood shall be treated to prevent deterioration. 2x8 framed panels with 5/4 x 6 decking supported galvanized footing pans. The 15 x 15 galvanized footing pans shall be constructed of a minimum 11 gauge steel with 2x4 block curbs. Hardware: All hardware used for connecting steel members shall be zinc coated. All hardware used for connecting wood members shall be hot dipped galvanized. Deck screws shall be Deckmate square drive by Phillips fastener Products with an Evercoat finish. 4 x 4 wood posts. The boardwalk shall have a 4' ramp at each end allowing for ease of access. The boardwalk and ramps shall meet current Americans with Disability Act (ADA) standards.' Pricing shall include full installation by the contractor/manufacturer. Pricing shall include any and all shipping/delivery charges to the job site.
