Provide "turnkey" maintenance and repair services for the City of Santa Monica Department of Transportation's Sensor Electronics (SE) gas detection system. These services include, but are not limited to; Calibration, testing, "call-out" troubleshooting, and repair services to the complete SE methane / flame / carbon monoxide sensing and life safety alarming systems at SMDoT - Big Blue Bus. These systems are located at the Big Blue Bus Maintenance and Fuel and wash facilities at 1620 6th Street in Santa Monica, California. Question Submission Deadline:February 8, 2022, 3:00pm Question Response Deadline:February 10, 2022, 5:00pm Bidders are hereby notified that pursuant to provisions of Section 1770, et seq., of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Contractor shall pay its employees the general prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Director of Department of Industrial Relations. In addition, the Contractor shall be responsible for compliance with the requirements of Section 1777.5 of the California Labor Code relating to apprentice public works contracts. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. No contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a contract for public work on a public works project (awarded on or after April 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. Bidders must possess a valid Certified by the Sensor Electronics Corporation California contractor's license at the time the bid is submitted or be otherwise deemed qualified to perform the work specified. Bids submitted using the license name and number of a subcontractor or other person who is not a principal partner or owner of the company making this bid, will be rejected as being non-responsive.
