The 2022 Seal Coat "Liquid Roads Ultra" Project will consist of approximately 342,000 Sq. Ft. (38,000 Sq. Yd.) of surface treatment, with an engineer's estimate of over $100,000. Competitive quotes shall be procured per ORS 279C.412 through 279C.414. This is an informal procurement, and there will be no public bid opening. Results will be available following review of bids and contractor selection. A Pre-Construction Meeting will be scheduled at the time of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, where the Contractor shall present their construction schedule and traffic control plan. This is a Public Works Project with an estimated scope of more than $50,000 and is subject to Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) Prevailing Wage Rates. The work shall be completed by August 26, 2022. This procurement is subject to a formal construction services contract. Contractors shall always maintain in force, at contractor's expense, insurance as specified below. Insurance coverage must apply on a primary and non-contributory basis. All insurance policies shall be written on an occurrence basis and be in effect for the term of the contract. o Workers Compensation, insurance in compliance with ORS 656.017, requiring Contractor and all subcontractors to provide workers' compensation coverage for all subject workers, or provide certification of exempt status. Employers' Liability Insurance with coverage limits of not less than $500,000 must be included. o Commercial General Liability insurance with a combined single limit of not less than $2,000,000 Per Occurrence Limit, $3,000,000 Annual Aggregate limit. By separate endorsement, the policy shall name The City of Redmond, its agents, directors, officers, employees and volunteers as an additional insured with respect to Contractor's services provided under this contract. The endorsement must provide primary and non-contributory coverage. All endorsements must be in a format acceptable to The City of Redmond.
