The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, and services required for the construction of the described project as included in the Contract Documents; consisting of the following items of work: The Work at these locations generally includes, but is not limited to: sweeping, crack and joint cleaning including joints along edge of asphalt, curbing and circumferences of concrete collars in bituminous pavement. Bids for work shall include; Crack blowing/cleaning, site cleanup, crack seal material and/or any other materials, transport, traffic control and labor necessary to complete the jobs based on construction plans; all in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the North Salt Lake City Engineering Department. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashiers Check in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid price, drawn payable to the order of North Salt Lake City. Bid Security will be returned to each unsuccessful Bidder. All Bids submitted shall be in conformance with the Instructions to Bidders, which are included in the Contract Documents; and shall be guaranteed by the Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of the Bid opening. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids presented or to waive any informality in a bid and to make award in the best interest of the City Bid schedule item No. 3 quantities have been revised up to 680,000 LF from 260,000 LF to include crack sealing the edge of pavement at the lip of gutter as specified in 2.4-B in the specification document.
