Project Engineering Services for Minor Storm Drainage. Scope of work is to provide an engineered solution for various drainage issues in an existing conditions environment where existing drainage systems have failed or flooding conditions have developed.The City of Charlotte (City) plans to contract with one or more firms to provide project engineering (Services) for various Minor storm drainage projects (Project). The contract(s) for these services will be up to three-years with an option to renew. The City anticipates approximately 200 minor drainage projects to be designed for construction by one or more project engineering firms each year.Minor drainage projects are typically defined to average in total construction cost between $10,000 to $500,000 each. The general timeline to complete a project is typically 30-180 days (including all aspects of planning, design, real estate, utility coordination, etc. excluding construction) The City reserves the right to enter into one or more contracts with any firm selected under this RFQ process. No subcontracting opportunities are available in the performance of this work.
