Project: Government Plaza Security Control Center Renovations 205 Government Street Mobile, AL 36644 Project No: CCP-007-21 Project Summary: Work includes, but is not limited to, providing materials and labor to renovate approximately 1,500 sf of existing office and security equipment room to accommodate the new Security Control Center. Work items include: limited demolition of partitions and finishes; partitions, doors frames and security hardware; room finishes; security control consoles and associated furnishings; electrical and fire alarm; low voltage support infrastructure such as cable tray and conduit. One hundred and eighty (180) calendar days are allowed for the construction of the project. All bids must be on blank forms provided in the Specifications and submitted in its entirety. A cashier's check drawn on an Alabama bank or a Bidder's Bond, payable to Mobile County, Alabama, for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid, but no more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000), shall be filed with the proposal, the Bidder's Bond being prepared on the form specified and signed by a bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Alabama. A Performance Bond in the form and terms approved by the County in an amount not less than the contract price will be required at the signing of the contract. A labor and materials bond in form and terms approved by the County in an amount not less than the contract price, insuring payment for all labor and materials, shall also be required at the signing of the contract.
