The City of Vancouver is seeking proposals from qualified firms/individuals for the design, installation, implementation, and maintenance of a state-of-the-art body worn, integrated vehicle (cabin/dash), and interview room cameras for the City of Vancouver Police Department. The City of Vancouver in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City of Vancouver is committed to providing equal opportunities to State of Washington certified Minority, Disadvantaged and Womens Business Enterprises in contracting activities. (Section 4 of Chapter 56, Laws of 1975, 1st Ex. Sess., State of Washington). The City plans to award a five (5) year contract, with an option to extend up to five (5) additional years. The maximum term of this contract is ten (10) years.
