Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Toronto, Ontario. Design plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Construction to improve the existing trail conditions between Wellesley Park and Rosedale Valley Road, in the City of Toronto. Replacement of an existing wooden staircase with a switchback trail connection that offers improved accessibility to the extent possible. Improvements to the adjacent parkette at the bottom of slope and the trails at the top of slope are also included in the scope of work. The objective of the Wellesley Park Switchback Trail Project is to provide a new connection that improves accessibility, connectivity, safety, and user experience for pedestrians and cyclists traversing this area. TIMELINE: Engineering assignment was awarded to Stantec. Public Event #1: winter 2023; Public Event #2: summer 2023. Detailed design is expected to commence in summer 2023. An implementation date has not yet been determined but would not be earlier than 2024.
