**As of March 7, 2022 project was awarded to Asphalt Paving & Materials Co with the awarded amount of $1,119,353.58. Furnish all labor and materials necessary for Street Milling & Overlay - 2022, as specified. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or draft of five percent (5%) of the amount bid, and issued by a State or National Bank and made payable to the City of Huron, or in lieu thereof a bid bond of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. Such bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in the State of South Dakota, payable to the City of Huron, as a guaranty that the bidder will enter into a contract with the City of Huron, South Dakota. The Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted. Dated this 31st day of January, 2022 at Huron, South Dakota. The parties agree that liquidated damages cannot be determined to an actual amount in the event the work remains uncompleted after expiration of the contract time
