Site work for a water / sewer project in Whittier, California. Completed plans call for site work for a wastewater treatment plant.
The project will demolish the plant's existing chain link fencing and replace with approximately 4,100 linear feet of 8-foot tall modular fencing with high-strength cut-resistant and climb-resistant mesh, barbed wire, and razor coil. Work will also include installation of new vehicular cantilever sliding gate with electric operator, manual double swing gates, pedestrian access gates, and all associated civil site work, electrical controls, and appurtenant work. The Board of Directors may award the contract for the above described work, either at the meeting of the Board of Directors to be held at the above-stated address, on March 23, 2022 beginning at 1:30 p.m., or at any other meeting of the Board of Directors within 120 days after the date listed above for receipt of bids. The Board of Directors may reject all bids. Unless all bids are rejected, award will be made to the low, responsive, responsible bidder. The work of construction must be completed within 210 Working Days after the date in the Notice to Proceed.
