The City of Gallatin Public Works, Building Maintenance and Public Utilities would like to upgrade their current VHF radio repeater system for three (3) channels. This upgrade would involve repeater replacement to a 100-watt continuous duty repeater and central voting system at the Long Hollow Tower for each agency. It will also include the addition of a voting receiver to be placed at the Sugar Tree tower for each agency. The link between the sites will be licensed microwave supplied by bidder. Leased lines will not be accepted. It will be the responsibility of the bidder to provide all necessary antennas, combiners, feed lines, duplexers and microwave back haul to have a complete turnkey system. The voting system will be configured to allow the addition of at least 1 additional receiver on each channel for future expansion. Bidder shall offer a one-year warranty on all equipment and workmanship. The proposed repeaters, voting receivers and voter systems shall be network compatible with remote diagnostic, programming and monitoring capabilities. Concessions for trade in of removed equipment will be considered. Bidder shall submit a narrative with full description of proposed system. Including quantity, make and model of all components and projected procedure for deployment The City of Gallatin will award the contract to lowest responsible and responsive bidder meeting specifications, quality, and performance standards pursuant to the Municipal Purchasing Act of 1983. Response will be based on the following factors; Cost Quality of product The City of Gallatin reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informality found therein. The City of Gallatin will award a contract based on evaluations described above.
