Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mayville, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The principal items for which proposals are invited are: 635 CY EBS & Additional Sub-Base 9525 SY Milling, Full Depth 1,050 TN 4 LT 58-28 S, 1-3/4" Thick (Finish) 1350 TN 3 LT 58-28 S, 2-1/4" Thick (Binder) 1 LS Traffic Control & Access All proposals shall be submitted on bidding forms included in the Project Manual furnished by the City of Mayville and in accordance with the provisions of the Project Manual. Bids shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Mayville in an amount equal to 5% of the Bid, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, the Contract Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and the Insurance Certificate(s), as required by the Contract Documents, within 15 days after the Notice of Award of the Contract by the City of Mayville. Failure on the part of the Bidder to do so will result in forfeiture of the Bidder's Certified Check or Bid Bond to the City of Mayville as liquidated damages. The City of Mayville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the scheduled time for opening bids. Letting of the contract is subject to Sections 62.15 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes as applicable.
