Renovation of a religious / funeral development in Jackson, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a religious / funeral development.

In accordance with La. R.S. 37.2163, anyone objecting to the above classification(s) must send a certified letter to both the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors and the Office of State Procurement. The letter must be received no later than ten (10) working days prior to the day on which the bid is to be opened. For any bid submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, a bid security (insurance company, bank money order, certified check, or cashier's check) must be included with the bidder's submission in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including base bid and additive alternates, if any) and shall become the property of the agency in the event the contract and bond are not executed within the time set forth in the bid solicitation. Failure to do so will remove the bid from consideration. Please refer to Attachment A: Special Terms and Conditions page four (4) for complete details of this requirement. The contractor shall perform fully, entirely, and in satisfactory manner the work contracted, within the number of calendar days stipulated in the proposal and the contract. Time will be assessed against the contractor beginning with the date of the notice to proceed Villa Feliciana Medical Complex is soliciting bids for repair work to its Chapel, located at 4988 Hwy 10 Jackson, LA 70748. Attached is the approved scope, which includes the specifics of the job. The repair work is to include the following o Prepare floor for new carpet by cleaning and washing with acid wash. o Install new Berber High Traffic, Industrial grade, Loop, broadloom carpet, or equal. (Carpet to be approved by Chris William or Jerry Savoy). Carpet to also be installed on the plywood deck of the podium area. o Remove all existing sheetrock from the walls o Install new drywall - 5/8 inch hung, taped, floated, and textured/ready for paint o Paint walls and ceiling - two (2) coats - with semi-gloss paint, to match existing o Blown in insulation - six (6) inch depth- R13 o Remove existing escutcheons from around sprinkler heads. o Remove all existing ceiling sheetrock from the seating area and from above the podium and install new half (1/2) inch sheetrock. Sheetrock to be secured with sheetrock screws (#6 x 1-5/8" Philips Bugle head course thread sharp point dry wall screws, or equal). Ceiling to be primed and painted with two (2) coats of UltraPure White extra durable flat interior paint and primer, or equal. o Seal ceiling (as needed) with primer - one (1) coat - to match existing o Remove existing twenty (20) recessed light fixtures and replace with thirteen (13) Lafayette Series ceiling mount model LF109C in the seating area, and seven (7) Slim Baffle, six (6) inch, Color Selectable, New Construction and Remodel Can-less Recessed Integrated LED Kits, or equal. o Remove and replace three and one-quarter (3 1/4 ) inch crown molding o Paint crown molding with semi-gloss paint - two (2) coats - to match existing o Detach, paint and reset ceiling diffusers /grills circular- twelve (12) inch-fifteen (15) inch- paint to match existing o Install three and one-quarter (3 1/4 ) inch baseboards - Medium density fiberboard with profile- to match existing o Seal baseboards with standard primer seal and paint with bright white semi-gloss paint- two (2) coats - paint to match existing o Remove existing interior door and replace with Colonist primed textured molded composite MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) interior door slab, or equal o Seal door slab with basic primer seal and paint door slab with three (3) coats of Ultra-pure white extra durable flat interior paint and primer, or equal. Paint to match existing o Paint door/window trim and jam with semi-gloss paint- two (2) coats - paint to match existing o Remove and replace two and one-quarter (2 1/4 ) inch casing around attic door o Paint casing with semi-gloss paint - two (2) coats - paint to match existing
