Quarterly (4 times per year) inspections of wet type systems in accordance with NFPA 25 Standard for Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water Based Fire Protection. Test flow of main drain to include static pressures. Inspect and test water flow alarms. Inspect and test sprinkler switches. Inspect piping, fittings, and hangers from floor level and orientation of heads. Inspect clearances of spray patterns in accordance with NFPA standards. Document and forward test reports to the Director of Facilities. Testing Certificates are to be issued. Restore system to normal working conditions. Verify system is back in service. Annual inspection in accordance with NFPA 25 Standard for the Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Water Based Fire Protection Systems and NFPA Standard for the Installation of Stationary Pumps for Fire Protection. Conduct pump performance test. Verify pump speed at minimum, rated and peak flows. Verify relief valve setting. Operate water flow and alarm switches. Confirm valve positions. Document and forward test reports to the Director of Facilities. Testing Certificates are to be issued. Restore system to normal working conditions. Verify system is back in service. Bid Bond or Certified Bank Check: Must be for 10% of the price of the Bid Performance Bond or Certified Bank Check: Must be for 100% of completed cost of project/service.
