Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Passaic, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Each proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder and must be addressed and delivered to the City of Passaic, Division of Purchasing, Attn: Doris Dudek, Director of Purchasing: bearing the name and address of the bidder written on the face of the envelope. The proposal must be endorsed: Design and Construction Management for Benson Avenue - Parking Lot, Tennis Courts, Drainage and Baseball Field Improvements - Green Acres 2021. This proposal is being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et. seq. The City of Passaic is only responsible for forwarding addendums or clarifications to those prospective bidders who obtained specifications directly from the City of Passaic, Division of Purchasing or to those who have put the City of Passaic, Division of Purchasing on notice as having received the specification. Bidders must be registered with the Division of Revenue, State of New Jersey for a Business Registration Certificate at the time of contract award. Bidders are required to comply with the requirement of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The project includes, at a minimum, parking lot expansion, drainage improvements, tennis court surface restoration, retaining wall evaluation and repair, and baseball field surface improvements. 1- Benson Ave Parking Lot: The overall scope of this item includes a new parking lot as shown on the attached concept plan: Evaluate concept to maximize parking (60 parking spaces or more) Storm Sewer Drainage improvements based on major development criteria if appropriate. Curbing and ADA access. Grading and landscaping. Make ready electric charging amenities. Additional amenities are typical for a public parking area. NJDEP permitting if required. Shall include a design for alternate bids for: Lighting System Security Camera System 2- Benson Ave - Tennis Court Drainage Improvements: The overall scope of this item includes retaining wall and drainage improvements to protect the tennis court from major storm events. The existing retaining wall is to be evaluated to ensure structural integrity and proper drainage features within, and/or behind the wall. (see attached concept): Evaluate existing drainage features along the retaining wall. Integrate existing or proposed drainage features into the parking lot drainage system. Repairs for the retaining wall, as needed. Improvements to the exterior area of the tennis court as needed. 3- Benson Ave -Tennyson Ct Surface Improvements: The overall scope of this item includes repair and/or resurfacing of the tennis court. (see attached concept): Remove areas of ponding water. Replace the tennis amenities as needed. Repair the existing Chain Link Fence and gate as needed. Install a new surface, striping, etc. typical for tennis court design. 4- Benson Ave - Baseball Field Improvements: Tilling, grading, topsoil, seeding, and fertilizer for grass areas. Excavation of existing infield soils and placement of Clay, soil, sand mix as specified for baseball infields Repair the existing chain link fence and gate as needed. Shall include the design for alternate bids for: Lighting System Security Camera System
