Renovation of a municipal facility in Jersey City, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

https://hudsonreporter.com/2022/04/25/exchange-place-plaza-redesigns-set-for-jersey-city-planning-board-review/ - The Jersey City Planning Board will review redesign proposals for the Exchange Place Plaza in Jersey City, which would include a new service road, new greenery around the Katyn Memorial and a playground for the waterfront locale. The most major changes in the proposals by the Exchange Place Alliance would be in the pedestrian plaza near Montgomery Street, where it's proposed to have a new service road on the south portion for the Hyatt House and the nearby service lot. The new pedestrian portion of the plaza would be guarded by security bollards, and would include space to have concerts, markets or festivals. The historic Katyn Memorial would remain unmoved and be surrounded by greenery and a semi-circular bench. The memorial, which commemorates the 1940 massacre of more than 22,000 Polish soldiers and prisoners of war by the Soviet Union, had been planned for relocation in 2018 to make way for renovations in the plaza, but it was called off following a backlash to the plan. A playground would be added between the PATH Station and J. Owen Grundy Park. Lastly, the portion of Columbus Drive to the Hyatt Agency would be narrowed, and would include more greenery added. ______________________________________________________________________________________ The work under this contract consists generally of removal and installation of station floor tiles, ADA tactile and rubbing board, repair of platform edge, stair treads, risers and handrails, damaged track wall, flood resistant doors, exposed concrete ceiling, station drainage pipe, removal and replacement of LED light fixtures and associated conduits, cables, electrical and ceiling panels, miscellaneous painting and related work at PATH Exchange Place and Grove Street Stations and the vicinities thereof in Jersey City, New Jersey. Accordingly, all bidders and the successful Contractor will be required to comply with any and all require applicable federal provisions and requirements contained in this solicitation and resulting contract.
