The project includes the following approximate quantities of work: 1,339 square Yards of roadway cold milling and paving, 462 square feet of pavement marking removal, 2,184 feet of Overband crack sealing. 37,093 square yards of chip sealing followed by 37,093 square yards of micro surfacing treatment (Cape Seal). Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid bond in a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid price, made payable to the City of South Haven. Submit your Bid on the Bid Form provided. If a pre-Bid conference is to be held, the date, time, and place will be as stated in the Invitation to Bid. Representatives of Owner and Engineer will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference. Engineer will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as Engineer considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective. Owner accepts Bidder's Bid and Bidder delivers within the time required by the Bidding Documents (or any extension thereof agreed to in writing by Owner) the executed Agreement required by the Bidding Documents and any performance and payment bonds required by the Bidding Documents. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of sixty (60) days from the date of Bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids. The Owner requires the Project to be substantially completed on or before June 22th, 2022 and completed and ready for final payment on or before June 30th, 2022.
