The following is a summary description of the Projects: The project includes, but is not limited to, Furnishing and Installing Electrical Conduit, Asphalt and removal, Subgrade Preparation, Curb and Gutter, Cement Slurry Backfill, Plantmix Bituminous Pavement on Falcon Ridge Parkway, Horizon Boulevard and Abbott wash in the City of Mesquite, Nevada. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside of the envelope with the name of the Project, Attn: Public Works Department, name of Bidder, Bidder's address. If the Bid is sent to the City by mail, the sealed envelope containing the Bid must be enclosed in an outer mailing envelope addressed to the City of Mesquite at10 E Mesquite Blvd., Mesquite, Nevada 89027. Pursuant NRS 338.147, NRS 338.1389, and other pertinent provisions of Nevada law, any Bidder seeking to qualify to receive a "preference in bidding" must submit a Nevada State Contractor's Board Certificate of Eligibility evidencing the preferential status. Said certificate must be attached to and submitted with the Bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to waive any informalities or minor defects in a Bid in the City's sole discretion, to the extent allowed by law. Any award will be on the basis of the lowest responsible Bidder, unit price, conformance to plans and specifications, Bidder's qualifications, full and accurate completion of the Bid documents, the extent to which the City judges the Bid to be in the best interests of the City, and other appropriate factors as may be permitted by Nevada law. If the estimated cost of project exceeds $250,000, then the award will be to the Bidder who submits the "best bid".
