The City of Miami Beach ("City") has determined that the Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) batteries at the Emergency Operations Center have exceeded their useful life and are no longer reliable in maintaining the loads. Through this Request for Letters of Interest (RFLI), the City seeks to engage a firm to furnish, install and dispose of old UPS batteries. Parties interested in being considered by the City for the services described herein should submit a proposal in accordance with Section 4, Submittal Instructions and Format. Responsive proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the criteria established in Section 7, Evaluation of Responses. Statement of Work Required. The City is seeking pricing from qualified firm(s) for 64 original UPS CSB brand battery modules or approved alternates according to the specifications listed in Group A. Further, the City is also seeking pricing for 64 refurbished UPS CSB brand battery modules or approved alternatives in accordance with the specifications listed in Group B. Proposers may bid only on group A, only on group B, or bid on both groups. UPS Systems are critical to the sustainability of the City's operations in the event of an extended power outage. The services and equipment purchased and maintained through this RFLI are intended to provide redundant power protection to the Emergency Operations Center.
