Bids shall be addressed "El Dorado Water Utilities" and shall be labeled "Bid for South WWTP Air Compressor Replacement." Bidders shall include within their sealed bids product data and all other submittals as required for all equipment and materials to indicate conformance with the Specifications. Exceptions to the Specifications shall be clearly defined within the submittal package as detailed in the Specifications. Any bid received after the scheduled opening time will be returned unopened. This bid includes furnishing and delivering one (1) Lubricated Rotatory Screw Fixed Speed Air Compressor, one (1) 240-Gallon Vertical Air Receiver, one (1) Refrigerated Non-Cycling Dryer, and all appurtenances for a complete and functional system. Installation and labor are excluded from this bid. Bidders will be required to inform themselves of all Addenda. Information regarding the number of Addenda that have been duly issued can be obtained from Hawkins-Weir Engineers. The El Dorado Water Utilities reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any and all Bids and to disregard all nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 60 days from the Bid opening date. This publication was paid for by the El Dorado Water Utilities, and the cost of the publication is $348.54, per Arkansas Code 14-55-208 and related statutes. The El Dorado Water Utilities encourages participation of small, minority, and woman owned business enterprises in the procurement of goods and services. Arkansas Code 19-11-259 provides 5% preference to Arkansas firms over non-resident firms. Bidder shall include a request for 5% Arkansas preference with their bids, if applicable.
