Site work for a water / sewer project in Wilseyville, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of May 3, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Cut-off date for written questions is March 15th, 2022, by the end of the day The project will consolidate the two wastewater treatment facilities (WWTF) and consists of the following work: 1) construction of a new 6-inch sewer and pump station to intercept flows from the community of Wilseyville, 2) construction of approximately 3,500-ft of parallel 4-inch dia. sewer force mains from the Wilseyville to the West Point WWTF 3) dewatering the Wilseyville sewage pond, mechanically dewatering of accumulated wastewater sludge, testing and solids disposal 4) demolition of part of the Wilseyville pond levee, and partial backfilling and re-grading of the pond bottom 5) construction of two concrete lined facultative sludge lagoons (FSLs) equipped with a recirculating pump station 6) construction of five sludge drying beds. Two beds will have a steel canopy. Three beds will be furnished with roll off containers and geotextile bags. 7) a pre-engineered septage receiving station equipped with a rock trap, grinder and mechanical screen 8) addition of a concrete building to house new electrical panels and a polymer feed system 9) levee improvements to the West Point WWTF effluent storage pond (Pond No.2), adding 2-ft to the existing leveed height and relocating the perimeter fence. Bidders will be required to submit proof of registration for themselves and all listed subcontractors prior to award of the contract. Not less than applicable prevailing wage decisions shall be paid in accordance with the Davis Bacon ACt (40 U.S.C. 276-a-7) as supplemented by the Department of Labor Regulations (29 CFR Part 5) and most current determinations of the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). This project will be partially funded by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund and as such must satisfy the requirements of the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) good faith efforts as described on the DBE Form Section 00490 and Section 00800 SC-20 DBE Requirements.
