Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Carrboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; municipal facility; and playground / park / athletic field.

The Town of Carrboro (Town) is requesting written proposals from qualified firms who can provide installation of solar renewable power generating systems ("PV Systems"). The Town of Carrboro is seeking proposals on the phased implementation of PV systems at the properties identified in Table 1 below. This RFP is intended to result in the selection of a vendor to design and install renewable energy development systems on a variety of public facilities/land and enable the Town to select the best financing option, such as full ownership, leasing, or debt financing. Please submit questions or inquiries by February 24, 2022 by email to Ben Schmadeke, Capital Projects Manager at bschmadeke@townofcarrboro.org. Questions or inquiries received after this date will not allow sufficient time for a response from the Town prior to the Due Date. Any corrections or addendums to this RFP will be posted at the following web page.
