Clarification Deadline - 2/11/2022 4:00 PM Bidders must bid on all bid items to qualify for consideration in award of the bid. Actual award of the contract will be based on Bid Item 1 only; however, Pierce County reserves the right to award a purchase contract to the lowest qualified bidder on each item that is deemed in the best interest of Pierce County. This contract includes the following Bid Items and a description thereof; Bid Item #1 - Bidder will provide un-coated aggregate from an approved source to be coated with "PG" Grade Hot Liquid Asphalt then the bidder will deliver the coated material to a designated stockpile location as directed by the County. Bid Item #2 - Bidder will provide un-coated aggregate from an approved source to be coated with "PG" Grade Hot Liquid Asphalt and available for pick up as directed by the County. Bid item #1 unit prices are for aggregate mixing/coating and loading into vendor supplied trucks delivered by the bidder into stockpiles at the locations shown and in accordance with the attached schedule, terms and conditions. Bid item #2 unit prices are for aggregate mixing/coating for pick up F.O.B. at vendor's plant, loaded onto County furnished trucks. The contract will expire on 6/1/2023
