The City of Covington is accepting bids for Stalvey's Sanitary Sewer Repair Contractors are invited to submit a bid to furnish all labor, material and equipment for Stalvey's Sanitary Sewer Repair in the City of Covington. All questions regarding this bid shall be made via email to Robert Barber, Water/Sewer Construction Manager, at rbarber@cityofcovington.org . The deadline to submit a question is 3:00 P.M. local time Wednesday, February 16th, 2022. The City will post "Response to Questions and/or Addenda", if applicable, on the City portal, by 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022. A 5% Bid Bond will be required with bid. A Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of 100% will be required from awarded contractor. The City of Covington will consider the competency and responsibility of bidders in making the award. City of Covington reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, to reject portions of the bids and to award contracts in a manner consistent with the City and laws governing the State of Georgia.
