West Campus Steamline Repair CR Number: 2083448 All work on this Contract is to be completed within 77 days after the Notice to Proceed. Project includes replacement of six (6) underground manholes, along with associated steam piping, condensate piping and site work. Piping required to be replaced outside the manholes is either direct buried or located in concrete tunnel sections. Along with the site work required with the manhole replacements, there is also additional asphalt and concrete sidewalk repair. Contractors should submit all questions no later than five (5) business days after the virtual walkthru. All questions are to be submitted in writing and can be e-mailed to Richard Merritt at richard.merritt@oswego.edu. Bids must be submitted electronically in accordance with the instructions contained in the Information for Bidders. The original bid package is to be mailed to the campus after the electronic version is submitted. Security will be required for each bid in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the Total Bid. This will require demolition of the existing flooring, abatement of the existing mastic, and selective removal for re-installation of millwork and countertops to accommodate the flooring work. All partitions are to remain in place, with the lower portions to be modified in place to accommodate the installation of the gypsum underlayment. Existing doors to either be braced and re-adjusted in place, or removed and rehung based on contractor option. Gypsum drywall, finish painting, and caulking as necessary to restore in kind required to finish the space within disturbed areas.
