Site work and paving for a civil project in Hoover, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes the rehabilitation of approximately 155 sanitary sewer service laterals with cured-in-place liner, replacement of 8 laterals with excavation, 22,722 linear feet of 8-inch, 12-inch and 15-inch diameter mainline cured-in-place liner, 1,300 vertical feet of manhole rehabilitation, asphalt paving and restoration work. The Contract Time for this project is two hundred seventy (270) consecutive calendar days from the effective date of the written Notice to Proceed to achieve Final Acceptance. Liquidated damages will be assessed if this time limit is exceeded. Questions concerning meaning or intent of Bidding Documents shall be submitted to Tad Powell, PE, Senior Associate, Hazen and Sawyer, at email tpowell@hazenandsawyer.com no later than 5:00 p.m. local time on February 25, 2022. All questions must be in writing on Bidder's company's letterhead.
