The Project consists of constructing a new sewer main through a commercial parking lot, across the Malad River on an existing utility bridge, and within a UDOT right of way. This project will require open trench construction next to an existing sewer main line, transferring existing sewer services to new main line, re-shaping existing manhole flow lines, bypass pumping of existing sewer flows, sawcut and removal of existing asphalt, fabrication and installation of fittings and casing for sewer main to attach to existing utility bridge, plug and abandon old sewer main at various locations, new pavement in roadway and parking lot trenches, concrete sidewalk and curb restoration, and restoration of landscaping. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing no later than 72 hours in advance of the opening of Bids. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than 72 hours prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Owner accepts Bidder's Bid and Bidder delivers within the time required by the Bidding Documents (or any extension thereof agreed to in writing by Owner) the executed Agreement required by the Bidding Documents and any performance and payment bonds required by the Bidding Documents. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality in a Bid, and to make awards in the best interests of the Owner.
