Renovation of an educational facility in Brockport, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The work of this single bid project includes, but is not limited to the following: Site utilities work shall include replacement of underground utilities and structures including storm sewer and connection of utilities outside of buildings. Asbestos abatement work shall include removal of building waterproofing and removal of underground asbestos storm pipe. Landscaping and site work shall include site regrading, sidewalk installations, asphalt paving, site furnishings and landscaping, trees, plantings. Electrical work shall include decorative site lighting, underground conduit and cable installation and misc. power as shown on the drawings. Prometheus statue removal shall include the scope of work within allowance: The contractor is to directly hire McKay Lodge Conservation Laboratory to deconstruct and turn over Prometheus Statue to Campus; McKay Lodge deconstruction and removal of Prometheus statue and McKay Lodge effort to turn statue over to Campus for storage. Scope of base contract work to be performed by contractor includes removal of the statue concrete foundation and steel reinforcement; Contractor responsible for providing equipment and operators; 60' boom aerial lift, 55' shooting boom forklift and 26' enclosed truck for transportation, assumed three weeks required for each; Three operators, assumed 120 hours for each. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule. In accordance with State Finance Law 139-j, all non-technical inquiries regarding this procurement must be directed to Robbilee Luedtke or for MWBE related issues, Scott Clay (518) 320-1673. Contact made to other staff regarding this procurement may disqualify the firm and affect future procurements with government entities in the State of New York.
