Renovation of a mixed-use development in Langley, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Per the owner, as of August 17, 2023, they are still waiting on a November 2023 Bond vote to see if they move forward. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ................ South Whidbey School District is in the process of reviewing potential improvements and repairs to its facilities. The District's Board of Education recognizes that there is a need for facilities' improvements and would like to put a Bond proposition before the voters of the District in November, 2022. The scope of the Project shall be determined with greater specificity at a later date, subject to the passage of a November 2022 bond proposal. Qualified firms are invited to submit proposals to South Whidbey Public School #206 (the District) for Architectural services for proposed construction projects to help design and estimate future projects that may include Football Stadium upgrades/Turf improvements, Exterior siding of High School/Elementary facilities, Roofing projects, South Campus/High School restrooms remodeling, New Construction of Pavilion/Multi-purpose/Covered structure building, Distinct wide Asphalt/Parking lot improvements, and HVAC renovation. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. Because this RFP relates to the provision of services on a yet-to-be-determined project scope, the cost proposal shall be stated as a percentage of construction cost.
