Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Project consists of rehabilitating or abandoning twenty-one (21) culverts along the Little Papio Creek Channel in Douglas County, Nebraska. Culverts will be rehabilitated with a variety of methods including culvert abandonment, remove and replace, sliplining with HDPE liner, and lining with cured in place pipe (CIPP). Work also includes excavation, embankment, embankment (borrow), removal and replacement of timber pile outlet structures, manhole construction, culvert spalling and joint repairs, removal and replacement of pavement and structural concrete, placement of gabion baskets, construction of temporary site access roads, removal and replacement of timber pile retaining walls, rip rap outlet protection, BMPs, traffic control, fence removal and replacement, and site restoration. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources otherthan the Issuing Office. As evidence of good faith and guarantee that contract will be entered into should award be made thereon, a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of bid must accompany bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Failure to do so will be cause for rejection. The Work will be substantially completed on or before _February 1, 2023_, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before _April 1, 2023
