**As of May 20, 2022, the project is on hold pending negotiations..** Project no- 1941 The work to be performed (Work) consists of the construction of the new odor control systems and ventilation at the headworks building. The project includes (but not limited to) the following: 1. Decommissioning, demolition, and removal of the existing odor control system. 2. Providing temporary odor control during construction if necessary. 3. Installing a new two-stage odor control systems furnished by Owner. 4. Decommissioning, demolition, and removal of the existing makeup air (MAU-1). 5. Installing two (2) new make-up air units for headworks building. 6. Modifying the electrical and instrumentation/control systems as necessary. 7. Complete additional associated work as identified in the bid documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Contract Documents. Providing temporary odor control during construction as requested by Owner if necessary. 3. Installing a new two-stage odor control system consisting of a bioscrubber and carbon adsorber furnished by Owner at the headworks including channels, screens, grit units and pump station wet wells. 4. Installing two (2) new GAC carbon scrubbing odor control systems at the headworks building furnished by Owner. 5. Decommissioning, demolition, and removal of the existing make-up air (MAU-1) and associated ductwork and appurtenances. 6. Installing two (2) new make-up air units for headworks building. 7. Modifying the electrical and instrumentation/control systems as necessary to accommodate the new odor control and ventilation systems. 8. Covering, sealing or otherwise eliminating or minimizing gaps and other openings in gratings and around isolation gates using methods as shown on the Drawing. 9. Replace covers for influent channels, screening channels, and grit units as shown on the Drawings. 10. Modifications to access drive paving to maintain access around the headwork building and new odor control systems placement. 11. Modifying headworks building bathroom to relocate interior door access to exterior wall
