The vendor shall be responsible for providing all necessary labor, services, materials, equipment, tools, consumables, transportation, skills and incidentals required for the City of Sarasota, Sarasota, Florida; in conformance with bid documents, which include technical specifications. The Contract Term shall be for a total of three (3) years. The initial period shall be for one (1) year with the option for renewal; upon mutual agreement, at the same terms and conditions and subject to available funding, for two (2) additional one (1) year extension periods. All pricing shall be renegotiated and mutually agreed upon, if and when the contract is renewed. A. All mulch shall be consistent in color, texture and size of the particles. B. There is to be no recycled lumber or foreign materials, as the content, in any of the varieties of mulch C. All bagged mulch must be palletized (cost to palletize and cost of pallet must be included in the bid price). D. This bid is strictly for mulch supply. EWF (Engineered Wood Fiber) and Mulch Installation is not being considered in this bid. E. All deliveries shall be made within the time constraints and as required by the City of Sarasota. i. The City of Sarasota reserves the right to refuse delivery of any mulch that does not meet the satisfaction of the City of Sarasota. ii. The City of Sarasota reserves the right and at its sole discretion, to seek delivery from alternate sources should the vendor be unable to comply with all requirements. F. All bid prices shall include delivery, as required, to the City of Sarasota on an "as needed" basis. G. All pricing shall be "fully loaded" and include all profit, overhead, copy, travel and miscellaneous expense. No additional compensation shall be paid.
