Shasta County is seeking proposals for providing engineering services to complete an economic/feasibility study for a permanent water intake for County Service Area #6 - Jones Valley (CSA 6). The existing intake system has been rendered inoperable by a landslide. An interim water supply system is in place, but a more resilient permanent intake system needs to be constructed. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is intended to establish the specifications, terms, and conditions governing the selection of a firm to provide engineering services to Shasta County. All proposals shall be in the form and format specified in Section E. entitled, "Required Proposal Format and Content." The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
