Site work for a road / highway in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Fort Lauderdale is seeking speed cushion installation services. The awarded contractor will be responsible for installing speed cushions and their appropriate hardware to secure the speed cushions on city roadways. The Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) rated markings for the speed cushions are prefabricated and ready for installation. The prefabricated speed cushions and hardware will be provided by the City. Manufacturer speed cushion specifications are attached. Scope of Work: 1) Install speed cushion as per specifications. Each is 6' W X 7'L X 3" H 2) Provide cleaning, preparation, and installation services of speed cushions with the dimensions mentioned in specifications. 3) Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) devices (Cones, Road Work Ahead advance warning signage, etc.) will be provided by the city for contractor's use. Contractor must return items to the City upon completion of speed cushion installation in same working order as provided. Q & A deadline: Feb 10, 2022 2:00:00 PM EST
