A timeline for award has not yet been established.** DeKalb County Purchasing and Contracting is currently advertising ITB No. 21-101476 - Seminole Road Landfill Cell Construction Phase 3, Unit 2, Cell 3N and Unit 4, Cells 4N and 5N. The DeKalb County Seminole Road Landfill is in need of additional airspace to continue providing much needed waste disposal capacity for the residents of DeKalb County and surrounding metro Atlanta. This project includes, but is not limited to, the following: o Construction of partial northern portions of the of Phase 3, Unit 2 (Cell 3N) and Unit 4 (Cells 4N and 5N) totaling approximately 22 acres in area (subgrade, primary and secondary GCL, double liner, protective cover sand) o Clearing/grubbing and excavation/hauling from the proposed cell footprint and adjacent stockpile area o Installation of all required stormwater, E&S controls, and hauling roads for: o Stockpile area o Phase 3, Unit 2, Cell 3N, and Unit 4, Cells 4N and 5N construction Contractor shall fully complete the Phase 3, Unit 2, Cell 3N portion of the Work (i.e., construction of Phase 3, Unit 2, Cell 3N for certification by Engineer and Georgia EPD) within one hundred and eighty-five (185) days from and including the acknowledgement date. Contractor shall fully complete the Work in its entirety (to include remaining cells, i.e., Phase 3, Unit 4, Cells 4N and 5N) within two hundred and seventy-five (275) days from and including the acknowledgement date.
