Estimated budget is either $250,000 or $350,000. Plainfield Fire Protection District is currently accepting bids for concrete paving for our Station 3 driveway, parking lot, and apron, located at 25001 W. 119th Street, Plainfield, 60585. Prospective bidders shall complete their own field measuring of the proposed concrete area. Call Chief Jon Stratton to make arrangements for the field measuring. Bidders do not need to be present during the bid opening. Include with your bid proposal a list of exclusions accompanied by the original specifications. All contractors must be licensed, bonded, and insured. Late proposals will not be accepted under any circumstances. Any proposal(s) received after the scheduled time for closing will be returned to the proposing firm unopened. Sole responsibility rests with the proposing firm to see that their proposal is received on time. The Plainfield Fire Protection District reserves the right to reject any or all bids on any basis.
