2022 Asphalt Maintenance Project Question Cutoff Date 3/22/2022 05:00:00 PM The Lexington County Department of Public Works is seeking competitive bids from South Carolina Department of Transportation approved contractors for the purpose of performing preventative maintenance, asphalt repairs, and resurfacing on various Lexington County paved roads. This work generally consists of milling, full depth asphalt patching, and hot mix asphalt resurfacing of existing paved roads. Additional work will include curb & gutter removal and replacement. Each road surface will require appropriate tie-in to the existing drainage features and adjacent roadways. The limits of work are described herein along with details regarding specific items of work. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: The Bidder must also agree to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $200.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as described in the General Conditions. Provide all materials, equipment, and labor to repair and/or resurface various Lexington County roads in accordance with the specifications, conditions, and provisions as provided herein.
