Renovation of a mixed-use development in Alexandria, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Project consists of adding cooling to both schools, specifically at Garfield Elementary School, replacing an AHU and adding a condensing unit; also adding a secure entrance. At Discovery Middle School, adding a chilled water system with chillers, pumps, and cooling coils to the existing air handlers and replacing the fan motors. Each bidder must accompany his proposal with a cashier's check, bid bond or certified check equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal payable to the owner as guarantee of prompt execution of the contract in accordance with the proposal and contract documents, and that he will furnish bond acceptable to the owner covering performance of the contract. Bids may not be withdrawn for thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any irregularities in bids.
