Site work for a water / sewer project in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Due to COVID 19, Chambers County Improvement District No. 1 will accept only electronic bids. Scope of Work of the Contract includes clearing, construction of 8" Water Line (approximately 120 linear feet), 16" Waterline (approximately 7,750 linear feet), construction of 8" Meter Vault, and all the necessary appurtenances (Fire Hydrants, Valves, etc.) within Chambers County Improvement District No. 1. Bids received after the closing time will not be accepted. Attendance by each prospective bidder or its representative at the prebid conference is MANDATORY, and no Bid will be accepted unless the bidder or representative was present at the pre-bid conference. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than 5 percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a Contract, execute Payment and Performance Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 10 days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. Bidders must register on this website in order to view and/or download specifications, reports, and plans for this project. There is NO charge to view or download documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgement will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
