Renovation of a multi-residential development in Auburn, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

Auburn Housing Authority (AHA) invites sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Replacement of Lincoln School Asphalt Roof located in Auburn Maine. A. Contractor will remove & properly dispose of all asphalt shingles, flashings, vapor barriers (if existing), etc. B. Install specified Underlayment to entire Roof Section. C. Install specified Architectural Shingle per manufacturer's recommendation. i. Drip Edge: install drip edge to rake and eave. Drip edge to be installed under the roof deck underlayment at the eave and over the roof deck underlayment at the rake. ii. Contractor will install asphalt shingle starter strips at all rake and eave locations and will fasten per manufacturers recommendation for wind uplift iii. Contractor will install all shingles with no exposed fasteners and will repair any locations with exposed fasteners at time of project completion walk through. D. Ridge Cap - Vented: Install manufacturer recommended vented ridge cap, per shingle manufacturer installed, fasten to sheathing using nails of appropriate length, use nail locations as marked in the ridge cap, install ridge shingles over ridge cap.
