Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Beech Grove, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This work shall include, but is not limited to, milling of existing pavement, resurfacing with hot-mix asphalt, full-depth pavement replacement with hot-mix asphalt, drainage structure improvements, sidewalk and curb ramp improvements, driveway improvements, multi-use path construction, installation of solar powered flashing beacon assembly, and providing thermoplastic pavement markings as specified. COMPLETION DATE: Work shall be completed no later than August 31, 2022. BID GUARANTY: Each Bid Proposal Packet shall be accompanied by an acceptable certified check or cashiers check made payable to the City of Beech Grove or an acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. If the Bidder is awarded the Contract, a Performance, Labor and Material Bond shall be required in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. BID PROPOSALS: Bid Proposal Packets shall be properly and completely executed on the forms provided, including State Form 52414 (Form 96), revised 2013 or later. Contractors and Sub-Contractors are required to enroll in and verify the work eligibility status of all its newly hired employees through the E-Verify program. No Bidder may withdraw his proposal within a period of 60 days following the date set for opening bids. The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than 60 days, and said bids shall remain in full force and effect during said time.
