The Berth 17 Crane and Gallery Demolition Project removes machinery and electrical equipment from a Port of Vancouver berth located at Terminal Five, Vancouver, WA. Work includes but is not limited to the removal and disposal of a Colby Crane and Gallery, utility termination, incidental deck repair, removal and disposal of hazardous materials and limited salvaging as defined by the project's plans and specifications. The cost estimate for the project is $1,330,000 - 1,470,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Clarification deadline 3/1/2022 12:00 pm.Questions must be submitted via the Port of Vancouver ProcureWare system All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Port of Vancouver. The Port of Vancouver reserves the right to cancel this invitation or reject any and all bids submitted or to waive any minor formalities of this call if, in the judgment of the Port Commissioners, the best interests of the Port would be served. The extent and location of the "Site Demolition" Work is indicated on the Drawings. The Work includes the requirements for the demolition and removal, wholly or in part and satisfactory disposal of the following dock located structures and components: 1. Colby Crane 2. Gallery building 3. Demolition of utilities associated with Colby Crane and Gallery 4. Removal of Machinery and Electrical Equipment 5. Removal of crane rail and concrete housing pads and repair of concrete level with existing dock surface 6. Removal of shed and other miscellaneous structures or materials 7. Capping of utilities at the pier or other features identified within these Specifications 8. Incidental Deck Repair 9. Removal and disposal of hazardous materials
