Dean Construction reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, to advertise for new proposals, or proceed to do the work by other means, when in the best interests of The City of Grand Prairie and Dean Construction. No bidder may withdraw its Proposal within ninety (90) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Construction of Tyre Park Improvements Phase I includes: erosion control, demo/earthwork, utilities, temporary fence, tree protection, site concrete, striping, shade structures, irrigation system, handrails/guardrails, landscaping, grade maintenance, turf establishment, site amenities, site electrical, playground surfacing, building refurbishment, rock weir structure, park sign, playground equipment, decomposed granite, quarry block walls, basketball shelter refurbishment. Attention is called to the fact that not less than minimum wages and salaries, based on the Federal Davis-Bacon Wage Rates, must be paid on this project, and that the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex or national origin. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating prices in the Bid, Dean Construction and the City reserve the right to accept the most advantageous construction thereof to the City or to reject the bid.
