Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a civil project in Benton Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Karns Road Contract Contractor to complete the following work: approx. 1465 ton of DSA, approx. 580 ton of Shale, approx. 108 ton of 2A Aggregate, 240 LF of 18" Pipe, approx. 222 ton of R-7 Rock, approx. 50 ton of R-4 rock, construct 12 headwall/ endwalls, approx. 1000 SY, and approx. 25 lbs of seeding. Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the contracts is required of all bidders. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract, as well as proof of worker's compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 Applies to project.
